When used in conjunction with a solid review textbook that breaks these topics down, your reading is highly focused and relevant with increased retention. I use the Clinical Review of Surgery and the two work well as a combination. FYI, very FAST shipping with Amazon - got the book the next day! Rating - Sabiston review I've used all the other major textbooks for Surgery (Schwartz, Greenfield) and Sabiston is by far my favorite. It has the best mix of basic science and clinical info of the three. I highly recommend it.
