Rating - Compelling insight that leaves more to the outlook on life
Whether you follow science, religion, or are simply going about your life in a passive manner; this friendly read touches on all dynamics of life from an unbiased perspective. Simply to enlighten the reader's mind, this book will not only leave you with a more thorough knowledge of where we are in humanity but where we've been and allows you to take the material and determine where you believe humanity to be headed. The author's analogies make the understanding of the material simple enough for anyone who is a novice trying to read something new and exciting. It's refreshing to see that some of us are not afraid to take bold leaps, not to influence the reader, but simply get their mind roaming with endless possibilities. I recommend this to anyone trying to get their foot in the door and catch up to the rapidly developing theories and findings so that you may develop your own educated opinion with an understanding of the information at hand. And it's affordable!
Rating - An eye opening experience!
The guidance of this story leaves the mind curious to all of the possibilities that, unfortunately, we don't always allow our minds to explore. This book will leave you with a greater sense and understanding of the world around you. Many times individuals don't necessarily want to believe what they can't touch, smell, hear and see. This literary experience allows the reader to take that step to learning and undertanding topics that they may not have otherwise explored. I have handed this book off to two friends and bought a copy for a famliy member and I am continually getting comments of curiosity and intrigue. All I can tell them is "take the journey to a better understanding".
Rating - The Human Handbook - review
This book is empowering. The Human Handbook sent me on a spiritual quest of esoteric levels; following the recommended titles referenced within. The theories presented in the book resolve some mysteries yet lead to new ones. Why are religious leaders so afraid of The Book of Jubilees and the Book of Enoch? Now I'm on Lost Scriptures by Bart D. Ehrman and my son is reading Fallen Angels. It's the starting place of a theological expedition.
Rating - Where Do I Come From: Why Am I here?
If you've ever stood gazing into a clear, dark night sky, your eyes focused on the 100 billion stars that make up our "Milky Way" galaxy, and wondered about your origin and your purpose, Tom Crawford's book will give you the information and perspective to begin to answer those questions for yourself. Beginning with the "Big Bang" start of creation some 13 billion years ago, the geological, physical, biological, chemical, psychological and religious components of our still-expanding universe are identified and explained in a well researched, concise, clear and informative format. The book offers a compelling compendium of interesting facts and research, considers many "what ifs," then leaves it to the reader to make up their own mind. The basic premise of the book is that humans are a crucial part of the creation process in spite of our efforts to rise above the fray of nature with our intellect and reasoning powers, that we are clearly part of the natural order, that we cannot escape the reality around us. We are not separate from the universe around us; we should not separate ourselves from each other according to race, creed, origin, geography or any other reason. The question - "Where Did I Come From?" might be more clearly known in the end; the bigger issue of one's purpose is left to the reader to decide. After all, it is "Your Extraordinary Story!"
