Sixty-two chapters written by area experts on every area of US stamps (history, production and technology), and stamp collecting in general. High quality printing and generous color illustrations. Suitable for the beginning collector looking to find an area of interest or to understand the basics, as well as for the advanced collector to dig deeper in even familiar areas. I have been a serious stamp collector for over 30 years, and find new things in the book that I didn't know or fully appreciate in my hobby. A tremendous value.
