I called them 4 weeks after ordering on Amazon and was told that they had processed my order about 3 weeks ago. When I called Financial Times directly, was told that they haven't even receive the order yet. Synapse offered to contact Financial times and get back to me 'in 3 to 5 days'. I just cancelled my subscription (and will never use them again) and subscribed directly at the FT website for the same price with promise to deliver in 3 to 7 days. Amazon should change their subscription partner since so many people have such bad experience already. Rating - 7 weeks without the first delivery I have ordered other magazine subscriptions through Amazon with great results howevever trying to get the FT was a bust. I ordred it on June 13 and today is July 23 and I still haven't seen my first issue. I cancelled my order today and will go directly through the FT web site. What a disappointment. Rating - Where is it? I ordered this subscription on 6/17/08. Amazon said it would start arriving in 2-4 weeks. It is now 7/17/08, and the first issue has not yet arrived. Rating - A great newspaper, but buy it somewhere else! I've been reading the FT for years and it's an essential part of being an informed reader. It's an absolutely stellar paper. But buy this subscription anywhere but Amazon. I ordered in December and haven't seen the first issue - it's June now. Amazon/Synapse customer service was 100% useless, except for returning my money. I coudn't even speak to a service manager. I saw reviews here warning about this, and I chalked it up to the bad luck of those folks. I know better now. Buy it anywhere else but Amazon!
