i have a 2001 1 dollar bill that is missing half of the ink on the front lower left corner.it apears to have once had a dog ear thad been removed but the corner still shows clearly that something was overlapped here anyone have a ballpark value on this one

The value depends on how much ink is missing, and the overall condition of the note.
Assuming 5% to 10% of the design is missing, the note would sell for around $40. to $50. uncirculated. Circulated, it would sell for around $20.
A more sizable amount of the design missing, say around 20% or more could bring more than $100. in uncirculated condition.
