| I just received from the bank a $20 bill, which under the Series instead of showing the year as 2001 is showing 200! – yes an exclamation mark.
I check other bills and they correct.
Should I hold the bill as a “misprint”? Is it worth anything – other than $20! |

| | It sounds like a break in the numeral "1" giving the appearance of an exclamation point. It would be unlikely if not impossible for the BEP to inadvertently place an exclamation point in place of the numeral "1". |

| Thanks for the reply.
I did look exclamation thinking the same thing. However, the ones (1) are always a line square at the top and bottom. This "mark" is rounded at the top and the period is clearly visible.
Can I copy it and send it for your review? |

| You could send an image in, but if the note has been doctored to appear as an exclamation point, a copy of the note wouldn't reveal the alteration.
I would suggest taking it to a nearby dealer, and have them look at it. |
